About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as a service user),

There was no problem in contacting the TRAQS team and they were polite and as helpful as they were able.

Unfortunately, not being in a position to manufacture appointments where non existent, I remain on the waiting list for the ophthalmology department at the PRH, which I am told will be a long wait, even though I was told the consultation was urgent.

The physiotherapy which I also had was very satisfactory and almost complete, carried out by Theresa (also known as TC). Very caring person.

Thank you for taking your time to share your experiences.

We are extremely pleased to hear that you found the staff at TRAQS polite and helpful and that your physiotherapy appoinments went well.

TRAQS can sympathise with your frustration at having to wait for your Ophthalmology appointment and as you understand we have no control over the waiting time for your chosen hospital. However, the Ophthalmology department will take into consideration that your referral is of an urgent nature.

Due to the anonymous nature of Patient Option feedback I am unable at present to look into your Opththalmology referral personally. It may be be the case that we are able to offer you an alternative provider with a shorter waiting list such as The New Cross Hospital.
