Anything else?
Been for 2 appointments now, both times waiting 90 -120 minutes until being seen. Never saw the Doctor and the one I did see isn't listed on this site at all ?!! There are no reasons given for being 1-2 hours behind schedule by 10am. When I was eventually called through, I was weighed then put in the consultants room for yet another long wait.

Thank you for providing information concerning your recent appointments at the Cumberland Infirmary. We know that it is often frustrating and inconvenient for our patients if they have to wait a long time for their appointment. Sometimes this happens because the Consultant has had to be called away to deal with an emergency or an important ward visit. For this reason, patients may have to see the Consultant's Registrar instead. Our staff do endeavour and try to keep patients informed of likely waiting times and we are sorry if this did not happen on this occasion.
