"Mother was admitted due to mental health problems"

About: Royal Oldham Hospital

Anything else?

My mother has repeatedly been sent to A+E due to mental health problems in which she was seen to be a harm to herself and others. This has happened around 9 times since the christmas period and many before. On one occasion she was discharged within a matter of hours and only on one occasion was she there for a number of days after agreeing to stay. However this happened again yesterday around 11 o clock at night, my father said she has to stay and instead of staying in A+E she was taken to the local police station as she was not safe in A+E. She was discharged from the police station only two hours ago. The doctors from what i have heard do not care and they seem to not be communicating with each other. I know myself communication is key whilst working for the NHS as I myself work for the NHS I think it is absolutly diabolicle. If it was their family member would they do the same? No they would not.
