What I liked
The Lead nurse and the Consultant who took over from the registrar. They were very thorough. The Doctor found the lump quickly, without embarrassing or humiliating me. The booklet that explained the procedure that I need and what to expect.
What could be improved
I have a large ovarian growth suspicious of malignancy. The consultant was in a meeting and the registrar who took his place had not got a clue about my condition. She was very irate, refused to put my M.R.I. report from Christie's hospital in my file. She didnt seem to know what she was doing and argued with me while I was half naked, waiting for her to give me an internal. Unsurprisingly, she could not find the lump that 3 consultants found easy. They whole experience was humiliating, stressful and frightening. I am in severe pain and left to suffer, despite speaking to the lead nurse yesterday. No confirmation of my hospital admission for 28th has been made. I am on the phone to the hospital while I am typing this and twenty minutes on, I am still on hold as the extension is busy.
