"request for assistance with on-going mental health..."

About: Bodmin Community Hospital

Anything else?

It would seem that past records had not been referred to. I have a mental health problem. The Consultant is on leave, so it seems that the whole system has ground to a halt, 'it would take to long for the 'locum' psychiatrist to look through your notes' - the result is that I have to wait several before seeing the 'actual' consultant (who, I imagine, doesn't keep my records in his/her head and would have to read thro' my notes?'). I felt fobbed off, insulted, patronised and generally dissatisfied with the assistance I received. Having been told their plan I was repeatedly asked 'is that ok?'; all replies of, 'no' (because I wanted help then) fell on deaf ears. I have a mental health issue, that's all. In the past the Consultant has been great, not sure that the support team backs him/her up..., 'distraction therapy' can't go on for ever - I'm too, depressionally speaking, long in the tooth to be fobbed off - is it because I have a mental health issue?
