Anything else?
I would like to say thank you the staff on the surgical triage ward.. On last Tuesday (8th Oct 13) I was taken in by ambulance with what turned out to be strangulated umbilical hernia. I was immediately put in bed and tested blood pressure etc and told to rest before I was examined. The nurses were very reassuring and helpful. The night shift were informed of my status and again were very helpful and kind. My hernia went back in, in this period and when I was given a thorough examination by a Junior Doctor who was excellent I was after consultation told I could go home but return within two to four weeks for an elected operation. Thank you all for your expertise and kindness.
"Excellent treatment in Surgical Triage unit"
