"Porters and car parks"

About: Mount Vernon Cancer Centre

(as a carer),

On arriving stressed and late for wife's radiotherapy planning meeting, friendly porter went out of his way to get me a car park token, told me where to park and where the unit was.

Our staff at the cancer centre are aware that often patients and their carers are experiencing a stressful time and that even the little things can be really helpful - especially if done willingingly and with a smile!

Whilst the car parking facilities are not ours and the porter may even work for another NHS organisation on the same site, we're delighted that they recognised that you needed help.

Glad they were on hand - and we'll do our best to feedback your kind words.
