"Penrice birth centre"

About: St Austell Community Hospital

Anything else?

Our baby boy was born three weeks ago at Penrice birth centre. He had the most wonderful start in life receiving the most professional, caring and supportive post natal care anyone could ask for. My whole pregnancy experience has been amazing, supported by the centre with courses and general care. During my labour the care was second to none and could not rate it highly enough. With extremely professional and friendly midwives and support workers I was guided through a very emotional experience. The rooms were extremely clean and spacious and the birthing pool was available for my use. There was nothing stressful or rushed and we were able to have a natural birth which we wished for. The aftercare was incredible I was encouraged to stay until I felt ready to leave and had support through the day and night learning to breast feed my first child. The care felt private the recovery rooms remained cleaned and quiet for this special time. Nothing seemed to much trouble for the wonderful staff. Truly the most wonderful place to have your baby. Thank you Penrice birth centre.

Thank you for your feedback. We want to make sure that the teams know when they have made a positive difference, so we will pass your appreciation on to the Royal Cornwall Hospital Trust as they provided your care.
