What I liked
I attended the Accident & Emergency Unit tonight (18/7/07) on the advice of an "out of hours doctor" because of a chest pain. I was frightened and anxious. I can only say that the staff on duty were professional, caring and friendly, despite being extremely busy. These comments are directed to the Receptionist, the Triarge Nurse, the Nurse who gave me an ECG and the Doctor who saw me afterwards to tell me that everything was fine. Sadly I don't know their names but I shall be writing a letter to the Chief Executive because I want them to know that the consideration shown was very much appreciated.
What could be improved
In this particular instance nothing could be improved because the care given was first class. On the "rating scale" I have given "excellent" in all the areas that applied to me.
