After falling on my head during a 45 mile weekend walk in Wales on 29 October I phoned Shipston Medical Centre 3 November at 8.40 and spoke to a doctor. Little more than an hour later I was seeing another doctor who decided after much consideration to organise an appointment at Ambulatory Fairfax Ward the same afternoon. My wife took me and we were looked after with the utmost care, courtesy and consideration and I cannot praise the medical staff we saw, as well as the porters, too highly.
