From 999 call with efficient ambulance personnel, swift transport to A & E department. All staff from nurses to doctors to care assistants all professional and caring. Everyone kept me informed and carried out their duties with compassion and respecting my dignity at all times. A friendly porter wheeled me to x ray and back making sure my drip was not tangled up and keeping me covered with a warm blanket. From aneathetic room to theatre and recovery everyone kept me informed and back to ward. All staff I came into contact with were very efficient even finding time to have a little chat to me when they could. Fantastic work Stoke.... I would come back again but hopefully will not need to!
