(as the patient),

I am 52 years of age and started suffering from anxiety due to illness. This anxiety led to depression. This was the worst nine months of my life because before then I was an outgoing person who liked sports and socializing.

Talking with the therapist and understanding anxiety was a great help. I am now starting to enjoy life again.
