The Cardiac Laboratory is equipped to a very high standard and the cardiac team worked well together. I was given the right level of information outlining the angiogram procedure and the care provided was first class. I was impressed with the efficient manner in which the Cardiac Laboratory operated, which helped to reduce any anxiety I might otherwise have had. I needed to stay at the hospital overnight and was provided with an excellent en suite room in the Oakley ward of the Cardiac Care Unit, as were most patients in that ward. The ward was quite new and of excellent design. The cleanliness was excellent. The only (minor) fault I had was that the temperature setting of the air conditioning was set slightly too low, which made the ward quite chilly.
