"Gallbladder trouble at Barnsley Hospital"

About: Barnsley Hospital / Gastroenterology

(as the patient),

I recently had to go into hospital at the Barnsley Foundation NHS Trust in South Yorkshire over suspected gall stones and excess acid production. The level of care I received from the hospital was really good and I was well looked after during my stay.

The hospital staff and doctors did their up most to give me the best of care from start to finish. The hospital food much maligned in the past was really good and of the highest quality all patents are well fed and watered with cups or mugs of tea and coffee throughout the day unless they are going for operations or for some other reason.

The hospital staff really do care about the people in their care and it shows.

Whatever the staff get paid they ought to get double for the work they do in the community of South Yorkshire. Barnsley NHS Trust is setting standards service that other hospitals should aspire to.
