"no triage!"

About: Heartlands Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as a relative),

Attended Birmingham Heartlands with my 86 year old father who was complaining of chest pains and difficulty in breathing.

Booked in for a mid morning, as I write this little update... Nothing absolutely nothing from anyone clinical just the receptionists who by no fault of their own should be playing for England's cricket team... The way they can deflect a questions!

Having worked as a paramedic for the NHS I have to say that Birmingham Heartlands is very poor!

Dear np100

I am so sorry you had this experience and would like to look into what exactly happened here with your father's care. To enable me to do this please can I ask that you contact me on simon.jarvis@heartofengland.nhs.uk or call me on 0121 424 1115 so we can discuss? All information will be treated with the strictest confidence as always.

I look forward to hearing from you and hope your father is recovering well.

Best wishes
