About: Leighton Hospital

Anything else?

Starting with the surgeon's secretary I received marvellous help when I had cause to phone them. On the operation itself, I had an epidural which was fantastic and so comforting once the warmth went down both my legs. The 2 Nurses prepared me ready to go into theatre and I felt really cosseted and comfy. The op itself took three quarters of an hour and I was then wheeled into a side room and given a drink of water. I could not believe how a major operation could go so quickly and me feeling confident all the way through :) I cannot praise everyone concerned enough and for the aftercare which i received from cheerful, hardworking nurses on Ward 9. Once again Leighton has gone up in my esteem with just a little bit of crticism about the food but I will blame that on the long corridors that it has to go along before it reaches the patients. Thank-you everyone. X
