Our first baby was delivered at Wythenshaw Hospital in September 2013. Due to various complications an emergency cesarean was required, but the staff were so professional, calm and comforting the experience was nothing like as frightening as the phrase suggests! All the staff we came into contact with, from the antenatal care provided by the community midwifery team, through to the midwives, consultants and surgeons at the hospital took time to explain and consult us about all aspects of care and we are extremely grateful to them for their support and hard work. We saw at first hand how hard working and dedicated NHS staff are, and how much they deserve the support and recognition of the public. We would and have recommended the hospital widely, and would have no hesitation in choosing to be cared for there again. 1% rise? Pitiful...
"Excellent care from a dedicated and hard working..."
