About: Homerton University Hospital

Anything else?

My wife took our son in as his penis had swollen and was in in pain. After the usual weighing and useless questioning procedure and a long wait, two doctors proceeded to examine what was obviously an infection of some kind. The diagnosis; "I can see nothing wrong with his penis, maybe he twisted a testicle! go and wait in the waiting room." during this I can't be bothered approach, my wife pointed out that the paperwork was still wrong which was greeted by a tut and a snigger. My wife was ignored during the examination where they just threw possible causes to "there's nothing wrong" at each other. Even my 6 year old pointed out the swelling! . This conversion included "Apparently he was screaming in pain". how rude are these these people? my wife took our son home after being brushed off as his discomfort had got better (still some swelling though) we monitored him over night in preperation for a GP visit in the am. We were greated by an official calling us 3 hours later saying she was concerned! I told our story and refused to go near that hovel ever again. once I explained I would complain her defence mode kicked in. Now we were being reported for putting our child at risk. 3 hours ago there was nothing wrong with him according to their doctors. Homerton hospital can continue to take processes and stats over customer care, professionalism and people skills. I would rather die than be insulted by them.
