"very good care"

About: Manchester Royal Infirmary

Anything else?

My father in now 88 has been in and out of this hospital with pneumonia and prostate problems several times over the past 10 years .I have always found the standard of care to be exceptional. The staff have nursed him back to health each time. He has always been treated with dignity and respect. The Staff have been helpful to the family in explaining what has been done to care for him. If any thing the cleanliness standards have improved over the years and more staff are available to keep the wards clean. As a family we are very satisfied with the hospital. In each case he has arrived at accident and emergency for assessment and then transferred to medical ward.

Thank you for your comments posted on the Patient Opinion website regarding your father's care on 1st October 2013. It was very kind of you to write and compliment the staff as it is good to receive positive feedback which reflects the hard work and dedication of our team. It was reassuring to hear that you were satisfied with the care and treatment your father received from the staff in the Accident and Emergency Department and the Medical Admission Ward at the MRI and the he has always been treated with dignity and respect. I can assure you that we have passed on your thoughts to the Manager of the Accident and Emergency Department and the staff involved.
