I recently had an orthopaedic arthroscopic proceedure at the day case unit in kidderminster and I have to say all the staff that I came into contact with were fantastic ,caring,helpful and not at all patronising . Unlike some other hospitals I could mention within the trust . . I would like to give a special mention to my Consultant who has been involved in my care for many years. Whom I trust and respect . The Anaesthetist, Theatre Assistants , HCA, Physiotherapist , Nurses, and finally the member of staff who called me the day after my surgery to check on how I was . . I have been a patient for many years and I can honestly say this experience was a welcome change from what I've been subjected to in the other trusts hospitals . Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, and whilst still a little drowsy the nurse assisted me with taking sips of water . Later on When I was more awake i was offered Toast or sandwiches , Tea ,hot chocolate ,or coffee , I would definitely recommend anyone who needs a surgical proceedure to choose KIdderminster Hospital . I found the compassionate care most refreshing .
