Having been admitted twice in the last two weeks I cannot stress the care and kindness shown to me both on admittance and also on transfer to Southwell ward. Nothing was too much trouble and the care was unbelievable.The staff and consultants were round seemingly all the time ,so much so that I felt guilty that they were attending to me all the time .,working very long hours ,often after they should have finished working .The ward was clean and bedding was changed daily .,with good food given priority served on time fresh and hot..Only slight failing was early drinks in morning which was sometimes as late as 8.45am which was very late after being awake most of the night and obs starting at 6am,but I think this was possibly due to how busy they were.Consultants I were under fully explained to me and also more importantly to my wife everything that could be explained as I dont think I could absorb all the information at that time.Any scans etc were quickly implemented without any delays .I could not recommend any other improvements to be made as I could not believe the fantastic treatment I received and will be forever grateful to the people involved,including the doctor and her team
