Having been known to complain when services were not at their best, I think it is only fair that I report when services are good. I recently visited the Rapid Access Colorectal Clinic for some checks. I was seen within 15 minutes of my appointed time. The doctor and nurse who saw me were very professional and made aware what the tests involved and treated me with every kindness and respect. I was told that I would need further tests, and a letter arrived, to confirm a further appointment, within one week. The second appointment involved the X Ray Dept. and again I had the tests within half an hour and was treated efficiently and respectfully by the radiologist and the assistant. Both tests were completed within 2 weeks and my total time at the hospital, for both tests, was less than two hours. A letter from the consultant, with the results of the tests, arrived within three weeks. My thanks to all concerned.
