"To all of you thank you!"

About: Bristol Royal Infirmary / Accident and emergency Bristol Royal Infirmary / Cardiology South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust

(as the patient),

In September I was in my old red car approaching Broad Walk traffic lights on the A37 when I felt a roaring and came round to find my car had hit a van and a friend who had seen me collapse was shouting wake up.....

There were 2 ambulance personnel there ...they were in their ambulance on the opposite side of the road and rushed over. I was out for 2 minutes so they said and was I confused when I came round.

The ambulance crew got me composed and into the ambulance and sorted me out.

They called my daughter who travelled in the ambulance with me to BRI.

The A&E team with Doctor Phil were amazing as were the staff who got me up to the NHI ward 53 where they sorted me out and said I had a heart attack,

ON thursday after a procedure with the superb Cardiac Catheter Team with Geoff. Michael, Roxanne and all the other wonderful staff ....I was back home

Who to say thanks to:

The two super Ambulance people, a lady and a man.......thanks. You were so comforting and yet so very professional.

A&E Staff Dr Phil and all the others......wow...how do you do that job so well in such difficult conditions.

Ward 53 Staff.....sisters, nurses ...the cheery guy who served me with superb food and coffee and the night staff who never got annoyed when I set my drip alarm off every hour,

Cardiac Catheter Crew.....Geoff Michael Roxanne ( dont sing the song) and the other wonderful professional crew who got me through a not noce procedure with a STENT? ? ? ? ?

The Cardiac Care Nurse ( Caroline? )who showed us a video and sheered us up..

To all of you Thank You.......Not only from me but from my wife KaTae, my children Sid, Dids, Emma, Tean and my son Adam and 3 grandchilren.

I hope I never see any of you again in a professional manner! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Hi Lazurus

Thank you for sharing your story - I hope you are recovering well!

It is genuinely rewarding to read how our staff are continuing to provide excellent care to patients, and their families, when they need it most.

We will pass on your thanks to the ambulance staff involved in your care and I am very sure they will, as I do, appreciate your comments.

Your feedback is is invaluable, so thank you, again, for taking the time to share it.

Sara
