"Next appointment or disappointment"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus

Anything else?

I sent a review in after my last disappointing appointment & was contacted straight away & given a name to contact to make sure that my next appointment would go without a hitch I was assured I'd see my Consultant & that a scan would be sorted if he thought I needed it . Well not only did I not see them, he wasn't even there ,they had no idea about the complaint . The doctor laughed when I said the last doctor had told me I was cured , I explain I didn't find it funny that I wasn't taken serous that I've been suffering for a long time without people listening . I've now been told I may have to live with the pain . It must be very easy to tell someone to live with it when it's not you suffering. I feel totally let down , I wasn't inform of this being a possibility , I asked at the meeting before the operation would their be any nerve damage & was told no .the only side effect I may experience was infection & bleeding and boy did I bleed three units worth ended up with blood transfusion & a stay in hospital . So not convinced you listen to me .not sure which way to turn next .
