I am writing to express my sincere thanks to the midwife who attended my unplanned home birth as an on call midwife on Tuesday 27 th august 2013. Her handling of an undetected breech delivery with only assistance from paramedics was first class. she took control of the situation swiftly and professionally. Her knowledge was second to none. She also exhibited supreme after care from the time spent at our home and the first feed to the hand over to her colleagues at queens hospital later that morning. I often think back to that delivery and am extremely grateful we received such first class care. Please can you pass on my compliments and comments to the person in charge of maternity services as I really feel she deserves commending on the work she did on this occasion. Many thanks.
