I had a RTHR (Right Total Hip Replacement) at Basildon University Hospital. I was admitted at 07.00 on Thursday 26 Sept 2013 and was discharged at 19.00 on Friday 27 September 2013....36 hours in total. I would give my experience 10/10. ALL the staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble for them, they were cheerful, polite and caring. I cannot praise them high enough. I may have to have my left hip replaced and I will have no qualms about having it done at Basildon University Hospital.
