About: Hull Royal Infirmary

Anything else?

I have had surgery many times, been an in-patient there several times and many outpatients visits .at both Castle Hill and Hull Royal Infirmary. Nursing and ancillary staff rushed off their feet but always treated me with respect and dignity. A much preferred hospitals to Scarborough. Consultants, doctors and nurses kept me informed. However, there is much general NHS waste of money to be seen such as all the so called certificates of standard attainments posted throughout every ward. This is irrelevant to patients and must cost millions throughout the whole NHS. Also it is quite obvious that night duty coverage is run on a shoe string causing patients to wait when the buzzer is sounded. Overall I have always been satisfied with my treatment and care.
