About: Hull Royal Infirmary

Anything else?

Having my wife admitted with Septecemia and problems with her kidneys initially into A & E and then transferred to ward 22 at Castle Hill to continue treatment. What a change on arriving on Ward 60 last Friday with helpful staff and consultants who took the time to talk to us and could not do enough. Although the operation for her leg ulcers was cancelled the staff went the extra mile with help and advice and my wife was able to get home on the Saturday having being very well cared for. An air bed was organised in just 2 hours not the 3 days at Ward 22 due to her disability. It is an example on ward 60 how it can operate.
