"today I visited ashfod walk in surgery with a bad..."

About: Ashford Hospital

Anything else?

Terrible, I want to see a dctor, because I self medicate my self by using honey and lemon, pain killer, using hot water and salt, after 5 days and still the pain no better I went see my local pharmacist and he advised me to go ashford walk in surgery, because he said I may have an thraot infection, at ashford when I called I met a nurse and not a doctor, when I tried to explain clearly my problem, it is clear that she was not listning me at all, she start quick checking my chest, my throat, and in a very patronising and rude way she said every thing is perfect you have npo problem go hoome. I could told her excuse me if I am ok why I come here? I think is waste of mpney and time having such services, tell patient that they can get help if they need one. I ned to be ssen a doctor they can just decide who you can see, before they really know what your problem is. If I klnow that I was going to see a nurse I will never left my home. It was waste of my time and the nhs money. Very bad experience I will never go and use such s bad service.

Dear Marian Whilst it is situated on the same site as Ashford Hospital, the walk-in service is actually part of Ashford Health Centre, which is run by Greenbrook Healthcare and not Ashford Hospital. I have passed your comments to them and if you would like to discuss your experiences in more detail, please contact Cathy Makepeace on 01784 884993.
