Anything else?
My 85-year old mother was recently admitted into the CSRU with a suspected stroke - fortunately after extensive testing it was found to be something else. From the moment we entered and were greeted by name in the corridor, the level of service we experienced was first-class. Tests were quickly arranged and carried-out, including an MRI scan. My mother saw specialist stroke nurses, junior doctors, doctors and a consultant. All staff - without exception - were friendly, courteous, respectful, professional and helpful. Follow-up appointments at other clinics were quickly arranged. Staff discussed the various tests and their conclusions in an informative manner. In short, it was a very high level of service. The only downside was that, after 4 hours of thorough testing and top-class care, we then had to wait 2.5 hours for a relatively simple prescription, leaving my mother (who suffers from a number of serious medical conditions) thoroughly exhausted.
"Excellent service"
