My son was born on the Lilac Birth Unit on Sept 9th 2013. We could not fault the care we recieved. The staff were excellent clinically and very caring. They were very patient and respectful and did everything they could to ensure we had the birth we had planned. Both the midwives who cared for us were dynamic and up to date with current best practise but also demonstrated their years of experience when it came to teaching breast feeding. We felt very safe in their hands and would not hesitate to recommend Whipps Cross Maternity Services.
