"Nothing but praise."

About: The James Cook University Hospital

Anything else?

I have been an in and out patient at James Cook Hospital for over 13 years, and I have nothing but praise for the staff that I have had contact with in that time. I have been dealt with by these departments ( Nephrology, Diabetes ,Cardiac, Urology , Renal Social Workers and the cpap team. And treated on wards 2 and 5 ). I am not a well Man, but I have complete and utter faith with all the truly professional men and women that I have had contact with. I am going to be under the care of these people, and I would not want it any other way. Well done James Cook University Hospital, the staff and the NHS. .

Good afternoon Thank you for your comments regarding the care and treatment you have received from The James Cook University Hospital over the past 13 years. It is always pleasing to receive words of thanks and I very much appreciate you taking the time to contact us. I shall certainly forward your kind words to the staff involved in your care and I am sure they will be equally pleased to read them. It may interest you to know the trust runs a ‘Thank You Award’ scheme where NHS colleagues, patients and relatives can nominate staff in recognition of their work. These are presented throughout the year for acts above the call of duty or where staff have shown exceptional kindness towards patients and their relatives. Please contact the chairman’s office on 01642 854151 or email deborah.jenkins@stees.nhs.uk.
