"Colposcopy in Cheltenham Hospital"

About: Cheltenham General Hospital

Anything else?

I am 24 years old and after my first smear test I was told I had abnormal cells (high grade moderate dyskaryosis) and needed to go into hospital for a colposcopy. I was worried and went alone but the team at the Oakley Ward in Cheltenham Hospital made me feel so relaxed and comfortable. I was introduced to everyone, was given a full explanation and asked if I had any questions. They were smiley, chatty, friendly and gentle. I had to get treatment but all was explained before, during and after and wasn't painful. Afterwards I even felt relaxed. The staff made my experience of a scary thing very comfortable and I would recommend them to anyone.
