"I am very disappointed with my treatment"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as a service user),

I need to know why my original appointment was cancelled. I would not have to wait up to 4 months for this appointment.

An appointment was made at the start of September for mid September, but it was cancelled a couple of days later, with no real explanation. I was assured that another appointment would be made as soon as an alternative became available.

Needless to say I am very disappointed with my treatment, as my sight is very important to me, and it is deteriorating quite quickly.

Thank you for taking your time to provide us with your feedback. We are very sorry to hear that your experience so far has not been a good one.

Unfortunately TRAQS only book the appointment after discussing the Choice of providers with the patient. The hospital is responsbile for managing the clinics and sometimes clinics and appointments are re-arranged due to unforeseen circumstances.

Due to anonymity of patient responses, I am unable to look into this further for you at this moment in time. I can however assure you that your chosen hospital will be taking care of your referral and that they will be doing their upmost to re-book you into another clinic as soon as possible.
