After writing and airing my disappointment with my fathers treatment I was treated to a very nice and informative phone call from a lovely lady at the LRI today. She informed me of the planned treatment for my father and although his appoinment isn't as fast as we would like it is planned within their guidelines and most importantly we actually know what is happening. Thank you Many thanks for your reply

Although we remain incredibly sorry that your father's treatment wasn't at the highest standard in the first instance, we are delighted to hear that a member of the Ophthalmology team took the time to personally apologise and explain what is happening with his treatment.
