Anything else?

On 2nd May I went into the day surgery unit to have my gall bladder removed. When I saw the Dr he said I'd have to have a scan before op as blood test results were not satisfactory. I was expecting to have a scan prior to my operation but didn't get one and they went ahead. I was in recovery for ages gasping for a drink but wasn't allowed one as I was told I was to have a scan. I said I didn't want a scan but no-one took any notice. Eventually around 4.30 pm I was taken back to the ward but still not allowed even a sip of water. I said I didn't want a scan I'd rather have a drink, bearing in mind that the last drink I had was at 5.30 that morning. I was in tears and wanted to go home so an hour or so later a Dr came and said there wasn't a space for me to have the scan and I was then given a drink of water (the first in 13 hrs) and told to go home. I went home and straight to bed. This was on a Friday but I was re-admitted on the following Tues with high temp pain and I was tachycardic. Great I'd got an infection Thanks guys
