I underwent surgery to correct a hammer toe condition. The booking procedure, initial consultation, pre-operation assessment, admission, physiotherapy preparation and training, surgery and recovery were well handled to an excellent professional standard. The consultation with the anaesthetist and surgeon was of a high and reassuring standard – no question was left unanswered. The only niggle was that I was asked to check in at 11:00 but only saw the anaesthetist and surgeon some three hours later, with the operation following a further two hours later.
