My daughter was air lifted to Royal Preston Hospital as she suffered a serious head injury falling off a bicycle (wearing a helmet). The care, attention and support that we received as a family was simply outstanding. My daughter was critically ill and there was a chance we would lose her. The Medical Team and Nursing Staff kept us fully informed and explained all of our options in a clear and concise way. Thankfully my daughter pulled through due an emergency operation. The standard of care at Royal Preston was exceptional .We cannot thank all involved in my daughters care enough for all they did and continue to do while we wait for her next operation. Many off us take the NHS for granted and focus on the things that are not right with the NHS rather than the outstanding skill of The Medical Team and Nursing Staff and the fantastic job that they do on a daily basis in an ever increasing challenging environment.
