"Excellent under the circumstances"

About: Wrightington Hospital

Anything else?

My visit to Wrightington, was to have a second total knee replacement. Same as my visit last year, the standard of care was excellent. The medical team, explained everything that was going to happen. The nursing staff on all the wards I was on could not have been more courteous and caring. Same for the auxiliary staff they could not do enough for me. The catering side had a good a varied selection of meals. Down side .I've had a lot more pain this time round. Some of the other patients needed to realise, that the staff were not there just for their convenience. My overall experience was that I was treated with care and dignity. Thank Wrightington Hospital

Thank you for posting your comments following your knee replacement at Wrightington Hospital. It was pleasing to note that your experience was as positive as your stay last year when you underwent your first knee replacement. I will ensure that the Division of Specialist Services are made aware of your posting to share with the staff on the Wrightington site. I will also share this with the Catering Manager. However, We were sorry to learn that this time it proved more painful than your previous operation.

May I take this opportunity to extend our best wishes for your continued recovery.

Kind regards
