"I feel better for knowing what my anxieties are and how to deal with them"

About: Inclusion Matters Liverpool

(as the patient),

I thought Inclusion Matters was very helpful for when I was going through a bad period of anxiety.

My counsillor was very good at helping me understand more about anxiety/panic disorder and gave me booklets and things to relax me during panic attacks, like breathing techniques.

It helped me to relax knowing that some of the symptoms I get are normal and it is just anxiety/panic attacks.

I read through the booklets and remember relaxing techniques when I'm feeling anxious and I find that it helps to reassure me that it is normal.

My counsillor also explained what health anxiety is and that I may have that, which has helped me understand what is it and what the symptoms are, so I feel better for knowing what it is and how to deal with it.

I'm waiting for an appointment for the next step of counsilling.
