"Missed the hospital after I left due to good care"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary / Maternity

(as the patient),

I visited the ward to have my baby in August 2012.

The ward was busy and had to temporarily close one evening due to the amount of ladies going into labour. This however did not impact on the care and compassion the staff showed me.

They were professional, calm, and in times of anxiousness from me they worked with me to ensure I was cared for. I don't have a bad word to say, the nursery nurses, midwifes and nightime staff all were brilliant.

I stayed in the hospital for 6 days and actually missed it when I left which is a huge statement to make as I have a very good family support network at home.

Hi "a good experience",

That username says it all really - as do your lovely comments. We are delighted to hear that you had such a positive experience with our maternity team.

To know that you received a extremely high standard of care is brilliant, even during what sounds like a very busy period.

We have passed your comments onto the lead midwife to share with the wider team.

Best wishes,

Laura Stannard
