"Discusted with the aftercare"

About: The Yorkshire Clinic

Anything else?

After recently having a tonsillectomy, I was sent a follow up appointment, which I really needed as I had had a severe secondary infection following the surgery, and felt I would benefit from specialist attention. When I arrived (19.45 on the16th September) I was told my appointment had been cancelled, and re-arranged, and that one also had been cancelled, but they had forgotten to inform me of any of the changes. It would not be possible for me to see the doctor, as he had other patients (probably private) waiting, and he didn't have my notes. I was sent away (even though I explained I still could not swallow properly, taste or smell) - and told I would receive a phone call the following morning at 9am to re-arrange. This did not happen at 9am, or at all - I still have not heard anything - today is the 22nd September. this type of aftercare is not acceptable.
