"East Surrey Hospital Children's Emergency Department"

About: East Surrey Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter (aged 9) recently broke her arm at school and was treated at the ESH Children's Emergency Department.

I would like to thank all the staff involved in my daughter's care. She had been terrified about coming to the hospital but her treatment at the hospital totally allayed her fears. We were seen quickly, the department's waiting room was very clean and child-friendly, and all the staff were lovely.

The lady who did her X-rays was fantastic, she talked my daughter through everything and let her look at her X-rays when she'd finished. The whole process, from walking through the door to walking out with her arm in plaster, took just under two hours.

We were very impressed!

Dear 'mumalums'

Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback. I'm really pleased to hear that you had such a wonderful experience when visiting out Emergency Department and that the treatment your daughter reasurred her.

I will make sure your comments are passed to the team in ED and XRay and hope your daughter is now on the mend.

Kind Regards,

Bethan
