My son was hit by a car and knocked off his bike whilst playing out with friends early evening. My son went to cross the road and the car set off from a stationary position at the same time. It was an unfortunate accident, which left my son with cuts and bruises to his head, arms, side and legs. The staff at Fairfield A&E were fantastic. The receptionist made me feel calm and reassured, we were seen by the triage nurse straight away and a few minutes later, we were with a doctor. The doctor examined my son thoroughly and put my mind at rest that he had done no serious damage. We were given an advise leaflet to take away (due to him banging his head) and were back home within the hour. Excellent service. Thank you.
