About: Bristol Royal Infirmary

Anything else?

My elderly and very frail mum was admitted with a heart attack on September 10th. Having called 111 (it was late at night) they were very helpful; paramedics appeared within 10 minutes and the ambulance in another 5 - a fantastic service. I followed on to the A&E service and the care she received there was brilliant, efficient and caring. She was admitted to Ward 4 in due course. Everyone from the paramedics, through to Ward 4 staff gave my Mum the best treatment we could wish for and the cleanliness was first class. I would also like to mention how important it was to have a nurse in the ward (as on Ward 4) very reassuring for elderly patients. thank you Bristol Royal Infirmary - brilliant work in difficult circumstances.
