I was transferred to the Lister from the QE11 on Saturday night Although it was very late, I was attended to immediately and received the best of care. I had suffered a heart attack and the nursing staff on ward 9B were fabulous, caring and reassuring, and I felt completely safe. After having a surgical procedure the following day, I returned to the ward where the nursing continued at the highest level I was discharged on Wednesday, but only after I had been fully informed about my changes in medication and rehabilitation A huge thank you to the nurses in the Cardiac ward

Thank you so much for taking the time to let us know about your experience of attending the Lister recently. Being in hospital is often an anxious time for many, but to be there because you've had a heart attack must have been very worrying indeed. Which is why it was so good to read that you felt cared for well throughout your time at the Lister - something that the team involved will be delighted to read. All that remains is to wish you a full recovery going forward.
