Unfortunately I broke my wrist but my experience at the A&E department was excellent. Seeing the pain I was in I was taken straight in for treatment. The first nurse was sympathetic and I received some pain relief very quickly. I was then taken for X ray and the nurse who subsequently treated me was excellent. I needed to have my arm stretched to relocate a broken bone and all the way through the process I was well informed, told what was happening and all with a brilliant 'bedside manner'.
