"Change isn't always a bad thing"

About: Adult community services / Continence advisory service

(as a carer),

We have been using the continence service for over 15 years. Our daughter has severe learning difficulties which means she will never unfortunately master her bladder control. We have always found the service very reliable and the people who deliver her continence products are very friendly and polite. We recently received a letter telling us that from now on we had to phone up to order new sets of products. We always found the old system where you e mailed every time you needed some very simple and effective. We wondered what the need was to change something that already worked well. However I just ordered our latest batch by phone and within 20 seconds I had a confirmed delivery date. So essentially in less time than it would have taken me to write and send the e mail, everything was organised and clear. So actually on balance the change was well worth it!
