"Hernia issues"

About: St James's University Hospital

Anything else?

I visited A & E on the advice of my GP as my recently diagnosed hernia seemed to be getting bigger and was a lillte painful. After a short wait I was seen by a Staff Nurse who in a very pleasant manner put my mind at ease and took the relavant details and observations. A short time later I was seen by a dr who very quickly reassured me that the problem wasn't serious and I could continue to work. He was very clear in his explanations, answered all my questions and was utterly professional. I was more than happy with the treatment I received and would have no concerns about visiting this department again.
