What I liked

Good written information provided before surgery, describing the ward, the anaesthetic, pain relief and discharge advice.

This is important as poor information causes anxiety.

Frendliness and professionalism of the staff

Nice relaxed atmosphere on the ward

Receiving sickness certificate on discharge

Receiving out-patient appointment very quickly after discharge

Friendly help in reception at entrance to hospital

What could be improved

Although the information was thorough and good, some of the leaflets had been photocopied a few times which made reading difficult.

A cash point in the hospital would be useful
